Hi All,
An opportunity for a 3rd guest post – this is an image taken during a trip to India in March. Jantar Mantar is a collection of astronomical instruments and the image here is of the larger sundial. Interestingly I later found Michael Kenna visited here and shot this from the right. You can find the link here .
I took my GF1 + 20mm for the trip only which was quite a decision at the time and I definitely enjoyed the challenge with no regrets.

Making the most of the Guest Account password before it expires shortly I wanted to make another post using a shot that I took last week.
This image falls into the “Opportunistic” & “Repeating Patterns” catagories that Lawrence wrote about here; it was shot whilst prowling the streets of one of my local cities(Leeds) after work. This escalator gives access directly to street level from an old shopping arcade – it is all rather unattractive usually but I liked this and have added it to my stream .

As some of you know I have been visiting LIF for a little while and so I am feeling pretty lucky to be able to make a posting here!
I took the shot below in January after having resolved to make better images – images hopefully more worthy of requesting feedback on from LIF members. Snow Scenes such as these have become quite familiar recently in the UK with our recent weather and I thought it an appropriate image to use as a 1st post.
I have a PhotoStream over on Pbase (www.pbase.com/96spec) for 2010 where I am endeavouring to deliver on my new years resolve – any feedback would be truly welcomed.

Hi All,
I am posting here after the “Submit to Lost in Focus” post from Lawrence. I have been following LiF for some time, and I must say that I have seen a lot of great photos here. Some of them are really inspiring!
I would like you to see two of my favorites and share your thoughts and opinions.
First picture shows the beautiful “Igreja Matriz de Santo Antonio”, which is the main church of Tiradentes (a small city in Brazil). I like specially the shapes of the clouds in the sky on top of the church towers.
Second one was taken inside a beautiful restaurant in Belo Horizonte (also in Brazil).
I hope you enjoy.
