Having a nighmare with light leaks in my camera backs…I see the insulating tape is going to take a place in my inventory ;-))

Wow – this picture made me get up off my ass today and post an image. So inspiring. I have no idea exactly what’s going on technically (other than it involves light leaks) but the effect is incredible in how it complements this particular image. Could be a movie poster for a beautiful, classical, throwback movie – or for a horror flick. I can’t decide which. A lot to be stunned and haunted by here.

Thanks guys, the light leak means I had to photoshop out a lightening of the image (because of the leak) at the top of the thumb. I have discovered it also creates a base fog on the film, which can make it look transluscent, as long as the levels are very low and occur over a prolonged period of time. Waaaay uncontrollable, so I won’t be doing it by choice ;-) K
Jude, I hadn’t quite seen this kind of thing before either (This is Shanghai by the Way). It’s a huge billboard at road level, but clearly someone took a knife to it, and someone surgically recovered it. The rip on the thumbnail is my favourite part…seems like torture ;-)K
