Some News from Jeff…

Just wanted to share some items.
(1). First, thanks for all your help selecting the best images from my L.A. Valley College series. I entered them in the “Hey Hot Shot” contest, a dumb name for a farily prestigious contest by a gallery in New York (http://www.heyhotshot.com/), and I was named a “contender” which is a nice honor considering the group of fine art artists the gallery represents. (2) My images are currently featured on a pretty nifty online magazine, here: http://www.coloursmag.com/. The person in charge is a nice guy, and for those interested in more exposure, you should submit.
(3) I decided that my portrait and occasional wedding photography needed a distinct website from my fine art. So, I built this over the weekend…take a look…http://www.jseltzphotography.com/
(4) And, finally…I found my website linked to a Spanish blog…sort of random. I tracked down the blog’s author, and (in my worst Spanish) asked “where did you find out about me?” And, he responsed (in his much better English), I frequent this great blog called LOST IN FOCUS and found you and other great photographers.
