SnowTrees
By GuestWriter • Feb 5th, 2010 • Category: Daily ShotsAs some of you know I have been visiting LIF for a little while and so I am feeling pretty lucky to be able to make a posting here!
I took the shot below in January after having resolved to make better images – images hopefully more worthy of requesting feedback on from LIF members. Snow Scenes such as these have become quite familiar recently in the UK with our recent weather and I thought it an appropriate image to use as a 1st post.
I have a PhotoStream over on Pbase (www.pbase.com/96spec) for 2010 where I am endeavouring to deliver on my new years resolve – any feedback would be truly welcomed.

Excellent image Ben. Glad to know that you are a fellow Pbase_r. Great images on Pbase.
Nice addition, Ben… I love winter scenes and this is an excellent one :)
Hi Ben – glad you posted this one, I really liked it… Excellent composition (my kind of style) which makes v good use of the negative space to accentuate the tranquil scene. I like how the gate breaks up repetition in the trees too. If you felt post process biased, I’d be tempted to go to town with a clone brush to make the scene even more stark. Anyway, strong image and great to have you sharing a shot here after so many valuable comments on others’ work
Thanks for the feedback all – really important and appreciated; Kaden thanks for the pbase comments. :-)
