  1. Pretty and ethereal imagery. Fantastic!!!

  2. How do you like that Velvia 50?

  3. Both superb with those velvia hues. The top one is my favourite, a fantastical scene, like a sunrise on pluto. The layering and the delicate nature of those fine frond trees. Also a fav of your recent uploads from this chilly part of the world.

  4. Sandbagger! I knew there were some amazing images you have been hiding from this landscape/nature photography kick you have been on. How long have you been waiting to drop these on us? Powerful exposures.

  5. Loving the “Sandbagger!” comment from Chuck. Your consistency on delivering quality images is off-the-charts, Lawrence. I wish I felt this inspired right now…

  6. just three letters……. OMG!!!!!!!!!

  7. Lol @ chuck.

Kaden – i love velvia… i think i remember david once saying it is THE reason he shoots film. i can understand / relate to that entirely… i would certainly say velvia is becoming my favourite colour film. i don’t have enough exposure (borrowing from kal’s pun repertoire) to be able to tell the difference between 50 and 100 in terms of tone / finish yet. part of that could be due to scanning. i do like the lower ISO tho as it allows me to more easily shoot wide open in daylight

  8. Like these a lot Lawrence. Good titles too, very evocative. I think the colours are magical and the light coming over the hill on that second photo must have been amazing to see.
