Chuck Inglefield

Born into the Detroit riots of 1967, Chuck Inglefield grew up 2 blocks from the now infamous 8 Mile road.  Social upheaval seems a fitting welcome mat for his life, for at an early age Chuck found he was intensely interested in observing the social dynamics of those around him.  Not only is he fascinated by the way people relate to each other and the world, Chuck often finds himself pondering the legacy that we have left and will leave as we live out our days.

It is safe to say that Chuck naturally finds himself observing more than participating, a position that lends itself very well to photography.  He adopted the hobby at age 16 and expects he will be creating images for the rest of his life.  Chuck’s interest lies in creating images that carry a social commentary, often more subtly than overtly.

Chuck currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife Meg.  They both have a love for travel and he always approaches their trips as photo explorations.   Chuck’s day job as a Financial Advisor for people who are retired keeps him busy enough so that photography becomes an outlet for creativity and a welcome excuse to daydream.
