Jeff Seltzer

Jeff Seltzer makes his living as a Marketing Consultant (a partner in a small, but growing firm in Los Angeles), but his true passion is photography which allows Jeff to explore his more artistic side (vs. writing report, running statistics, etc. at work!).

His style is best described by others, but he has three main areas of interest:

(1) Documenting what he sees – these are photographs mostly of scenes, usually without people, that make one stop and look;

(2) Family Portraits; and

(3) Environmental Portraits / Street Photography – two types of photography that are close to Jeff’s heart and we’ll hopefully see much more of.

Jeff’s photographs have been featured by the Millard Sheets Gallery as part of the Utopia Photography exhibit and the 2007 Photography Exhibit. He was a “Finalist” in the 2006 Best of Photography Annual contest and an “Honorable Mention” in the 2007 Best of Photography Annual (hardcover books by published by Serbin). His “Carnival” and “Untitled” series were published by the online magazine FILE. But, by far, his proudest accomplishment is organizing the 2008 Contemporary Photography Exhibition which includes images from 25 local photographers in Los Angeles (and a few images from Lost in Focus members!).

Jeff currently resides in beautiful Southern California with his beautiful wife Trina, and daughter Gretha. He has also lived briefly just outside of Washington, D.C., and in London, England.
